Wild Viking rules
What do you get when you mix the rules of two of the most popular games of the online casino industry? Wild Viking!
If you would ask us to explain what kind of game Wild Viking is, we would describe it as an exciting combination of Roulette and Poker. A combination of the rules of these two leading casinos games must be gold, right?
The game
Wild Viking is a cards game played with a 52-cards deck plus 2 jokers. The game is played against the banker / dealer. Bets are made on a 'Roulette looking' table. The Wild Viking table shows all 54 cards plus some extra betting possibilities. After placing your bets the banker will deal 5 cards, faced up.
Placing a bet
A bet can be made by placing a chip on the table. There are 4 possible bets when playing Wild Viking.
Centre betting area
This is the main area of the table. The centre betting area consists of all 52 cards on which 'Roulette like' bets can be made. The fifth card in a game of Wild Viking is the equivalent of the straight bet at Roulette. Placing a chip on an ace of hearts at Wild Viking can be seen as placing a bet at a certain number when playing Roulette, 21 red for instance. A single card bet (straight) at Wild Viking will pay 51 to 1.
Bottom betting area
Odd, Even, Black, Red, the Bottom betting are offers the bets who we already know from Roulette. The pay out of these 'Roulette like' bets are matching the Roulette rules (1 to 1)
Besides the bets we already know from Roulette there are two more bets available at the Bottom betting area. First there are the two joker cards bets which are single cards bets. Second there is the Wild Viking bet. To win this bet the first and last cards drawn have to be joker cards. The Wild Viking bet pays an amazing 1250 to 1.
Top Betting area
The top betting are of the table consists of different poker hands. Unlike the two 'Roulette-like' bets who only use the last (fifth) card, all five cards are used for the top betting area bet.
The player predicts which hand will be dealt by the dealer. A bet can be placed on the following hands. Behind the hand the matching pay out is given:
- Full house: 150 to 1
- Four of a kind: 280 to 1
- Flush: 90 to 1
- Straight: 45 to 1
- Three of a kind: 9 to 3
- Two pair: 6 to 1
- One pair: 1 to 1
Poker hands betting area
The last betting area is the poker hands betting area where you'll find all poker hands not mentioned in the Top Betting Are. Think of a Royal Flush, three-of-a kind etc. Pay outs vary and can be found in the in-game pay table.
Progressive jackpot
Wild Viking is linked to a progressive jackpot. The possibility to win a progressive jackpot gives Wild Viking an extra dimension. There's always the chance to win a hugh amount of money. The Progressive jackpot bet is a 1 Dollar / Euro / Pound bet. To win the jackpot you need a Wild Viking / Royal Flush hand.
This means that you need a hand from which the first and the last cards are jokers. The other three cards between have to be mounting cards. This can be an Ace - King - Queen - Jack or 10 as long as they are mounting.
We wish you all the luck of the world when playing Wild Viking online. After reading the Wild Viking game rules, the game won't have any secret for you!
