Keno history explained

Keno was already played hundreds of years ago. Nobody knows when Keno was invented exactly. What we do know is that Keno was already played before the 18th century.

Keno found its origin in China. In the 19th century the game was introduced to the USA by Chinese immigrants. These immigrants needed recreation in their spare-time and so the first Keno events were organized in the USA. Since then, the game conquered the world and can now be found in thousands of pubs, clubs and casinos worldwide.

Keno rules

A Keno board consists of 80 numbers (1 to 80) The Keno machine will draw a selection of 15 numbers out of a possible 80 numbers. Just like playing Lotto, Keno is all about predicting which numbers will be drawn by the Keno machine. On the the Keno board, a number of spots can be selected with a simple mouse click on the board. The exact amount of predicted spots is up to the player. Sometimes the number of spots that can be selected is limited though. The amount of spots that can be selected usually lies between 4 and 15.
