New World Poker Tour stop: London

Party Gaming owns the World Poker Tour (WPT) and has added London to the WPT schedule. The capital of England and the United Kingdom hosts the popular poker tournament. The high-end Mayfair district, and particularly the Palm Beach Casino in the Mayfair Hotel hosts the WPT event. The WPT London takes place from August 29 to September 5 2010.

The main event offers 400 seats with a €5.367 + €322 buy-in. Online qualifiers also join the poker tables, the company stated. “London is an amazing poker city. We have been aiming on the British capital for a long time,” WPT president Adam Pliska commented.
