Last week democrat William San Bento came with a proposal to allow 24 hour gambling in Rhode Island, USA. When this proposol is accepted, it could be the major financial booster the local (Gambling) market was looking for. The state Rhode Island is facing major financial problems.

Current legislation says that Gambling esthablishments have to close their doors at 4:00 PM at latest. When it is up to San Bento these restrictions will dissapear real soon.

Besides allowing arround the clock Gambling, San Bento is also hoping for a license to tolerate a larger amount of slots machines at 2 gambing parlors in the state.

All these legal changes for the local gambling market are part of a plan which has to lead to a $ 25 million revenue for the financial struggling state of Rhode Island. The HFC will hold a public hearing on the new legislation this week.
