Finnish strike may affect casinos

Employees of the Finnish Slot Machine Association (RAY) plan a two-day strike. This could result in closed casinos from Friday to Sunday. Involved parties must determine by Thursday if they are prepared to agree with the proposed plan. This relates to conditions and salaries and was proposed Wednesday night.

The RAY declares that a strike would lead to a loss of hundreds of thousands of Euros. Casino workers are represented by Trade Union Suora, Service Union United PAM and Finnish Electrical Workers’ Union in the negotiations.
