UIEGA is going down

Barney Frank’s and Ron Paul’s bill against further implementation of the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act is signed by another 5 congressmen this week. Federal officials already admit that the UIEGA is causing major problems for the country’s e-commerce development. Rumours increase about possible UIEGA ending.

According to bill HR 5767, the UIEGA should be stopped before it hurts the financial institutions and payments systems even more. According to Ron Paul and Barney Frank It’s time to conclude that the UIGEA is a big failure.

More and more congressmen agree with Paul and Fran. As already reported last week, the number of supporters of the anti-UIGEA bill still grows every week. With 5 more supporters of the bill the end of the UIEGA is in sight.
