FTOPS tourney gets underway

Poker events have got a head start with the Full Tilt Online Series of Poker (FTOPS) tournament now underway.The tournament, organised by the Full Tilt poker website, guarantees a total of more than 15 million dollars as prize money, including six events which are worth a million or more.

Pro hosts

This is the 11th edition of FTOPS and has 25 pro-hosted events. The hosts include such big names in poker as Team Full Tilt's Howard Lederer, Gus Hansen and Andy Bloch, John Phan, two-time winner of Player of the Year Awards, and Josh Arieh, with two WSOP bracelets to his credit. Apart from playing host, the pros will also present Pro Chats where queries sent in by fans will be discussed. Gary Jones, Friend of Full Tilt Poker and well-known TV poker commentator, will be providing commentary and video highlights from certain final tables.

Range of poker events

This edition of FTOPS includes a wide variety of tournament types, including Shootout and Knockout tournaments, Razz, Stud and HORSE events. There are some new features as well, like a $200 + $16 Heads-Up Pot-Limit Omaha tournament (Event No.18) plus the novel Second Chance format for Event No. 12. This lets you have the chance of a free re-buy within the first hour of play.
